Flexible Coverage
The system supports networking of up to 15 sites, allowing coverage to be planned and deployed according to specific user requirements.
Individual sites can be strategically deployed to address different geographic areas and operating environments, helping provide stable, high-quality voice communications across the required coverage area.
This flexible architecture enables organizations to extend radio coverage cost-effectively while adapting the system to different operational and communication requirements.
Channel Pool
In the Capacity Plus system, the channel pool provides an efficient mechanism for managing and allocating available channel resources.
Channels can be organized and shared according to system requirements, enabling communication resources to be dynamically allocated among users and talkgroups. By efficiently managing channel access and release, the system improves channel utilization, overall system performance, and user communication efficiency.
Automatic Roaming
Linked Capacity Plus supports automatic site roaming, allowing radios to automatically select an appropriate site based on received signal strength as users move between coverage areas.
A predefined Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) threshold determines when a radio begins searching for a stronger site signal. When the received signal falls below the configured threshold, the radio can search for and register with a more suitable site.
This enables users to move between different coverage areas with minimal manual intervention, supporting convenient cross-site and cross-region voice communications.
